The November 6th meeting of the Honeoye Falls – Town of Mendon Historical Society will feature Steve Collward, whose topic will be “New York State Firearm Makers of the 19th Century”
Presented will be an overview of gunmakers and their trade in New York during the first half of the 19th century. Examples of several original percussion rifles made by upstate New York gunmakers will be displayed and discussed.
Steve has been a lifelong student of New York's colonial history including the study of firearms of the 18th and 19th century.
The meeting will begin at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Mendon Community Center, 167 North Main Street in Honeoye Falls. This facility is handicapped accessible. The meeting is open to the public.
