The Still Picture Branch at the National Archives at College Park, MD is pleased to offer researcher services for the photographic and graphic material records in our holdings.
Research visits are by appointment only and are scheduled no further than three months in advance. New weekly appointment blocks open each Monday. On-site consultation and pulling of records will be available. Still picture researchers may also request pre-pulling of records by emailing [email protected] and indicating specific series and boxes or items.
Researchers can visit multiple research rooms, but they must have an appointment in each room.
If you have not completed the Researcher Orientation and new researcher registration form, you must do so to receive your researcher card onsite.
All researchers are required to comply with agency health and safety guidance. For more details on the attestation and testing procedure, see NARA Research Room FAQ #6. Please also review NARA FAQs number 11 to 15 for additional Health and Safety requirements.
