Where:
Meet on the first floor in the large meeting room. Doors open at 2 pm. Tables are limited, bring a table if you can. Plenty of chairs, no need to bring a chair.
Time:
2-4 pm:
Please try to be on time, it is not advised to come an hour or so into the swap, by that time most have already swapped and left.
Swapping plants:
For the Plant swap members just set up on a table and mingle from table to table and swap plants with each other. Members communicate with one another and make agreements to swap plants.
What to bring:
Please bring any of the following to swap with others in the group:
Any and all plants, seeds, plant cuttings, trees, or plants. Plus if your vegetable garden, herb garden, bees, chickens, or fruiting trees over-produced and you are willing to share, bring your extra crops! They can be swapped for plants, seeds, etc, or added to the free table.
We have a monthly free table for first time gardeners. The free table is also for anyone who attends. Members can drop off extra plants, seeds, gardening items, fruit, vegetables, and edible extras from your garden.
Homesteaders, Food Foresters, and Master Gardeners: Please come and set up a presentation. Members can visit your table and learn while swapping plants! Members can present any knowledge and information they can share about any topics related to gardening food forest, and homesteading If you will be presenting a topic at your table, be sure to let us know in the comments what topic you will be presenting. Presentations do not have to be elaborate. Just share some knowledge and examples with us!
Tables and chairs are already in the meeting room, provided by the library. Tables are limited, There are only 11. Please bring a table , if you can.
