About this Event
Want to gain a deeper insight into the artists inspirations, processes, and intentions in their artwork?
Join us for a special artist talk with three of the four artists featured in Experience Contemporary (Myth and Storytelling) at the Casselberry Arts Center on November 7 at 7PM.
Boy Kong, Emily Martinez, and Tom Rosenow will be here to talk about their work on display. They will share their stories and answer questions from the audience.
Experience Contemporary (Myth and Storytelling) illuminates our human need to tell stories, create myths, and extract meaning from our experiences. The work on display contains elements of myth and storytelling in the artists use of hero characters, world building, archetypal themes, and symbols. We all have our own unique stories to share and interpret as we see fit. This exhibition is intended to highlight just how ubiquitous this meaning making is in our everyday lives, how stories guide us, and the agency we each have to define and redefine our own stories.
