Nova Nordic Nights – Women’s Recreational Ski Night 📅 When: Every Friday, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM(ish) starting Jan 3rd
⏰ Please meet in the office by 7:15 PM
📍 Where: Starting from the lodge
⚠️ Requirements:
Membership or Day Pass required (Currently no registration needed)
Ski Rental available in the rental shop give a half-hour for fitting.
Temperature Cut-off: 🌡️ -20°C (with or without wind-chill)
📝 Event Details:
A weekly recreational ski night designed for adventurous women to explore the winter nights, improve their skills, and enjoy the outdoors together.
After the ski, join the Après Ski Social in the lodge! Enjoy a warm, welcoming environment, connect with other women at your skill level, make new friends, and share some feminine camaraderie.
🗺️ Trails: Ski outside of the lighted trails—don’t forget to bring your headlight!
🏞️ Ability Levels:
Open to women of all skill levels, but participants should be able to ski the Tear Drop trail using the technique of the night. The technique alternates weekly between Skate Skiing and Classic Skiing.

Group Ski:
This is a no-drop ski, meaning you start and finish together as a group at the lodge. Leaders will plan the routes and manage group sizes to ensure everyone’s enjoyment.
Leaders’ Role: Leaders will guide the group, but lessons are not provided during the ski session.
Gear Suggestions:
🔦 Headlight (important since we ski outside of lit trails)
🧥 Temperature-appropriate clothing (avoid cotton)
🧦 Warm socks (foot warmers if desired)
🧤 Mitts, 🧣 Buffs, and a 🧢 Toque (as needed)
📢 Updates & Communication:
Weekly technique and other details will be posted by Wednesday.
Changes or cancellations will be posted by 2:00 PM on the day of the ski.

⚠️ Note: Since this is an outdoor activity, flexibility is important. Leaders will make decisions based on weather conditions and safety.
