Join us for a deeply restorative afternoon devoted to the Heart (Xin) the emperor of the organ systems and the home of the Shen (spirit). The Heart governs our ability to experience connection, joy, clarity, and emotional balance. When it is nourished and supported, we are better able to meet life with steadiness, compassion and joy.
This offering invites gentle movement, stillness, warmth and gentle nourishment for the heart center. It is an essential time to provide awareness and steady the Heart, allowing its fire to remain calm, balanced and strong amid external experiences.
Rebecca Fettig of Golden Point Acupuncture will guide you through a heart-centered Qi Gong practice, moving with gentle breath and intention to awaken and circulate Qi through the Heart, Pericardium, and Lung meridians. Like sunlight weaving through quiet branches your tension softens, the heart opens and the body remembers your innate rhythm. Your nervous system will find ease as presence unfolds allowing your body, mind and spirit to merge in a tender, luminous embodied harmony during this sacred practice.
Maria and Joshua Talbot of NAMASTEMADRE will offer a guided meditation and sound healing experience with gentle intention, intuition and space for stillness. Experience the resonance of their voices and vibrational instruments of sound, creating a sacred space to release and receive. Receive a heart centered opening through guided visuals. Witness your Shen settle and feel your body, mind and spirit flow into harmony. This is an invitation to soften your energy and let your heart breathe freely.
In these moments of great significance that we are all experiencing in this world now more than ever we are being called to slow down, tend to our inner landscape and come together in community. Caring for ourselves is not separate from caring for one another. When we cultivate balance and harmony within, we strengthen our capacity to share it outward into our relationships and bring balance to our world.
Together, Qi Gong, guided meditation, and sound healing create a sanctuary for the heart, a place to slow down, soften inward and remember our shared humanity. Through collective presence and care, we strengthen our capacity to remain in balance and cultivate harmony for ourselves, for one another and for the world.
