“... your hunger to belong is always active and intense because you belonged so totally before you came here…Your longing desires to take you towards the absolute realization of all the possibilities that sleep in the clay of your heart; it knows your eternal potential, and it will not rest until it is awakened.”― John O'Donohue, Eternal Echoes: Celtic Reflections on Our Yearning to Belong
Our over-stimulating world interrupts our relationship with our true nature, our core creativity and capacity to love ourselves. In the writings of John O Donohue, Mary Oliver and others we are reminded that ‘our animal bodies ‘ know that they belong; it is just our minds that make us feel fragmented and homeless.
The Nourishing the Roots of Our Being retreat invites us to go back to go forward. Through embodied approaches and gentle meditations stemming from the field of Craniosacral therapy and Pre and Perinatal Psychology, Grainne and Sara invite you to nurture your own unique zest and spark that led to the formation of your being and body. This workshop aims to help each one of us ‘re-member’ that the very roots of our being are ever present to welcome us home.
This retreat is Ideal for individuals, therapists, yoga teachers or life-lovers who wish to attune more fully to their true nature.
