This year, the theme of our two-day academic symposium is “Nourish the Soul,” and scholars from across the country will join Texas Southern University faculty and students to explore the intersections of literature, food, and culture. TSU alumna and featured chef Food Network’s “Ciao House” (2003) Trenica Johnson and Bazille Executive Chef William Santolucito will co-host the Culinary and Fashion event, showcasing other distinguished culinarians and celebrating the rich history of the TSU Fashion Design and Nutrition Departments.
