Becoming and being a mother can often feel like a roller coaster no matter if your children are only about to or have just entered the world or already have children of their own - the transition from being pregnant to having to take care of your baby, toddler or teenager, the experience of strong feelings and emotions, the need for physical recovery and healing, adjusting to the lack of sleep, fluctuating hormones, juggling a thousand things a day, and recurrent worrying about our children.
As mothers our attention is often directed to the outside - we tend to take care of our little ones, our family, and all the others as well but do we take time to take care of ourselves?
It’s hard to take care of the world if your reserves are empty. All mothers and givers need to be nurtured and cared for as well and even more so, so that they can rest and recover and give the calm warmth forward.
Reflecting on personal and our student’s experiences we felt like there’s a lack of designated space for mothers, with children of any age, to take that nourishing moment just for themselves - that break where you can just pause and be, that break where a mother can be taken care of so that they can fill their own cup with all the warmth, care, and rejuvenating nourishment to recharge, restore, and realign.
No experience with yoga or soundbaths is needed!
Needless to say this would be the most beautiful present for a special mother in your life!��PS! We are often asked if pregnant women can join this session as well and yes, you absolutely can come and treat yourself to this truly nourishing afternoon!
FACILITATORS:
For this event we have combined the extensive experience and knowledge of Lauriane Camus (https://theholisticspace.com/ ) - A pre-and postnatal and women’s health yoga teacher and teacher trainer, Yoga Therapist, and a mother of three, to provide you and your body all the support you might need in this period of life.
Kika Krutop (www.kikayoga.dk) is a yoga teacher and a sound therapy practitioner who loves creating those increasingly precious and needed moments of rest and calm in the ever busier world. She has facilitated over a hundred soundbaths in Copenhagen, including prenatal soundbaths for mothers-to-be.
