About this Event
Join our women’s day retreat with Anni Townend & Katy Beechey at The Grain Store.
The day begins with a nature walk through the lush landscapes of The South Downs. Led by Anni Townend, Thinking Partner & Executive Coach, you’ll experience the power of the ‘walk and talk’, reflection and how side-by-side conversation connected to the season nourishes and nurtures. In May, early morning mist rolls away revealing a fullness of wild flowers: oxeye daisies and poppies blow in the wind. It’s the perfect path for wellbeing.
Hosted at boutique eco retreat, The Grain Store Lewes in the South Downs, you’ll have both quiet corners for reflection and communal spaces to gather. Field Food will then serve you a delicious seasonal, locally-sourced lunch, with tea and coffee available throughout the day.
In the afternoon, Certified Life Coach, Katy Beechey, invites you to consider what it means to feel nurtured and to thrive. Through reflective exercises, you’ll identify associated thoughts and feelings and how these impact you. What would you like to reawaken in yourself and what has the potential to blossom and grow as spring gives way to summer?
Then it’s time to get creative with beautiful spring flowers. Floral stylist, Amy Bell, will guide you in making a hand-tied posey of Sussex-grown garden blooms in a vintage stoneware jar, which is yours to take home.
Our core intention and biggest wish is that by connecting with nature and one another, you leave our retreat feeling nurtured, nourished and valued.
