The culmination of the Nottingham Speaks Up project will be our showcase at the new Nottingham Central Library. Come along and hear some of the submissions made to the project, read out by those who have written them.The project is about giving a creative voice to anyone in Nottinghamshire to speak out about gender-based abuse and violence. Coming just before national White Ribbon Day on 25th November (also the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls) and the start of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, we're trying to break the silence on gender-based abuse and give local people the chance to speak out and speak up
