This event is for anyone in Nottingham who supports people on their parenting journey, or who helps babies, infants and children to thrive!About this Event
This event acts on feedback from colleagues across the Best Start system in Nottingham that in-person opportunities help us all to develop stronger relationships with each other and achieve better outcomes for our 0-5s.
This event will include sessions to explore:
- What is meant by 'Best Start' in our different areas of work across the system (including the local Best Start Strategy and Best Start in Life Strategic Plan, Best Start Family Hubs, and the national Best Start work)
- The maternity support available for people to stop smoking during pregnancy: launch of the new incentive scheme
- Our Healthy Little Minds service and the importance of the infant voice in everything we do, ahead of Infant Mental Health Awareness Week 8th–14th June
- The Early Years Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Team: the current landscape
- Best Start Family Hubs: how we are supporting our 0-5s to thrive
The event will also include dedicated time at the beginning and at the break for networking with people and services across the system hosting different stalls.
