Bio

Sara Papini, Soprano

International opera singer Sara Papini has graced stages around Canada, the United States, Italy, France, Israel and Russia. Her operatic roles include both Mimi and Musetta (La Boheme), Adina (L'Elisir d'Amore), Norina (Don Pasquale), Gilda (Rigoletto), Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Nedda (Pagliacci), and Hannah Glawari (Merry Widow). She made her New York City debut in the role of Tina in Jonathan Dove's Flight, a New York City premiere, conducted by Metropolitan Opera conductor Joseph Colaneri. Ms. Papini performs for many events throughout Toronto and the GTA. She is a frequent performer at Casa Loma with the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra and has also performed for such dignitaries as former Prime Minister Stephen J. Harper, former Prime Minister of Italy Enrico Letta, Princess Marconi and her Royal Highness Prof. Li of Manchian Empire China. In 2017, Ms. Papini opened Aria School of Music in Nobleton, Ontario of which she is a member of the faculty.
