Notebook Crafting

Join us to celebrate Dublin City Learning Festival for a hands-on, creative workshop in Unit18. Over two relaxed hours, you’ll design and make your own handcrafted notebook, combining simple stitch-binding with expressive calligraphy and bold lino printing techniques.

Using beautiful imagery sourced from Trinity College Dublin Library’s Digital Collections, you’ll create a unique cover inspired by rare books, manuscripts, and maps and more. This workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone curious about printmaking, lettering, or bookbinding.

All materials are provided, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Meet fellow crafters - our Crafty Creatures knitting and crochet group meets every Thursday. Leave with a finished notebook and the skills to keep making!
