This talk by Joyce Quin will look at notable women in the North East, based on the two books, 'Angels of the North', by Joyce and Moira Kilkenny.Joyce was brought up on Tyneside and now lives in Warkworth. Her career has seen her as a University Lecturer at Bath and Durham Universities, as well as serving as an MP, before being appointed to the House of Lords in 2006, becoming Baroness Quin of Gateshead.
