1pm - From Parlour Game to Paranormal Icon: The Disturbing Life of the Ouija Board. Presented by Peter Laws.

Peter Laws traces its strange history from parlour craze to modern cultural icon, uncovering scary testimonies and chilling real-life cases that refuse to be dismissed. Expect forgotten origins, eerie twists… and a few stories that might make you think twice before asking…’Is there anybody there?’

Peter Laws hosts the popular paranormal YouTube Channel ‘Into the Fog with Peter Laws’. He is also a columnist for The Fortean Times magazine, and the author of five books - including the non-fiction book ’The Frighteners: Why We Love Monsters, Ghosts, Death and Gore.’ He’s also the creator of the horror church podcast, Creepy Cove Community Church.

2.30pm – Screening: QTV

Quentin Smirhes is the alter ego of writer and filmmaker, Sean Reynard. Reynard's work spoofs the aesthetic of eerie, low-budget 1970s regional television, particularly children's educational or public information programming. Quentin Smirhes is the slightly sinister, anorak-wearing presenter of a fictional children's TV channel called "QTV." Watch this bizarre broadcast with new material, but beware the nightmares which might follow!
