Throw it back to the golden era of the 90s — when hip-hop beats were legendary, R&B ruled the airwaves, and block parties brought the whole community together.

For one night only, Not Another Block Party transforms the atrium into a vibrant street-party inspired experience filled with music, food, art, games, and unforgettable throwback energy.

But this night is about more than just great vibes. The evening also serves as a fundraising initiative, with net proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising activities supporting Daily Bread Food Bank. By attending, guests will not only enjoy a vibrant community celebration but also help support food accessibility initiatives for students and the wider community.

In addition to fundraising, the event is designed to highlight and support local talent. We are proud to showcase and encourage support for aspiring artists, entertainers, and small businesses, giving them a platform to share their creativity and connect with the community.

The event is also created in collaboration with the George Brown Chef School, offering students valuable hands-on experience while showcasing diverse culinary flavours through a series of curated food stations.

Whether you're here for the music, the food, the games, or the creativity — this night is designed to bring the George Brown community together, including students, staff, families, friends, and neighbours, to connect and enjoy a well-deserved break from the pressures of school and work.

The best outfit of the night will take home the Best Dressed prize.
