About this Event
Offered in conjunction with McDougall Cottage’s newest exhibit, Snapshots in Time: Nostalgia and Memory, this guided walking tour through historic downtown Hespeler explores some of the places that reflect the hard work and creativity of generations who built this community and that still hold special meaning for local residents and their families.
The sites we’ll visit not only helped to shape the community of Hespeler itself, but also the lives of the people who lived and worked there.
While the people may have changed, the memories of its stories, buildings, and businesses remain.
NOTE: The tours depart from outside the Hespeler Heritage Centre (11 Tannery St E, Cambridge) at 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm sharp and run for approximately 90 minutes
The cost is $15.95+HST. Tickets are available for in-person purchase at McDougall Cottage during its hours of operation.
