Ed Savory, Partner in our Corporate and Commercial Services Team and Heads the firm’s Food Sector Team. Ed deals with a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, mainly acting for SMEs. He advises on all manner of corporate transactions, leading teams advising on acquisitions and disposals, acting for buyers and sellers to trade and private equity. Ed is part of the firm’s Family-owned Business Group and is experienced in advising on generational transitions and splitting out businesses, in particular in the agricultural sector.
Nigel Cushion is an experienced director, chair and business leader. He operates mainly as a chair and board adviser, mentor, and speaker. After initially training with KPMG, Nigel has spent two decades on boards and has held nine NED roles, across a wide variety of industries, including six as chair. He is the former runner up in the national Non-Executive Director of the Year awards (Unquoted Companies), run by the Sunday Times/Stock Exchange. He has spoken all over the world on leadership and governance including for the Institute of Directors and at The University of Oxford.
Sam Greenhalgh, Partner at Birketts will be leading the course. Sam has specialised exclusively in employment law throughout his career. Based in the Norwich office he advises clients from all sectors including large companies, SMEs, public sector organisations, charities, senior executives, and individuals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law with particular experience of complex large scale employment litigation and collective redundancy exercises.
This is a pay-per-seat course, and we will run groups of no more than 15 delegates per course to provide you with intimate sessions, and a network of peers in your region who you can call upon for advice and guidance outside of the training room.
