Join us for our NBWN May Lunch at the historic Strangers’ Hall, Norwich, for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and practical insight you can take straight back into your working day.
This month’s session is all about something we all do… overthinking our communication.
We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte Travers, owner of Digital Bridge Skills, who will be leading an interactive and relatable session:
“Say What You Mean (Without Overthinking It)”
Ever sent an email and immediately second-guessed how it might come across? You’re not alone.
In this session, Charlotte will explore how to communicate more clearly and confidently - without tying yourself in knots trying to get everything “just right”. We’ll look at the difference between direct and passive communication, how personality styles influence how messages are received, and why tone can completely change meaning.
You’ll leave with practical, easy-to-apply tips to help you communicate more effectively - whether you’re working with clients, managing a team, or simply trying to send an email without overanalysing it afterwards.
Corporate members can bring up to two guests at the member rate.
