About this Event
Northwest Outward Bound School is hosting an event to screen Wood Hood and Becoming Ruby, both films that highlight the experience and importance of the outdoors for black folks. Wood Hood is an award-winning short film about Camping to Connect, a BIPOC-led experiential mentorship program that uses outdoor recreation and nature immersion to address the diverse issues faced by young men of color in America’s cities. Becoming Ruby is a film about inclusion, identity and hand-drawn heroes.
