Northwest Bike Nonstop 2026https://rideyrbike.com/NWNS2026
Event: Northwest Bike Nonstop (3rd edition)
Date: Sunday, June 21, 2026 @ 6:00 AM
Start: Waypoint Park — Bellingham, Washington
Finish: Davis, California (US Bicycling Hall of Fame)
Distance: Approx. 1,075 miles
1. The concept
The Northwest Bike Nonstop is a linear odyssey between two West Coast cycling hubs: a southbound, self-supported ultra from Bellingham, WA to Davis, CA. It’s for riders who want to cross the Pacific Northwest on quiet backroads, using minor connectors to stay off heavy traffic and keep the pace honest and brisk.
2. The route & navigation
Trajectory: Southbound Bellingham → Davis.
Terrain: ~95% paved, ~5% adventure surface (gravel/dirt)—designed to be the most minor connector practical at each decision point.
Elevation: ~+47,000 ft climbing.
Scenery: Washington forests, Oregon valleys, and the run into Northern California.
Navigation: Follow the official GPS route, app based nav and tracking
3. Rules & style
Strict self-supported rules: solo or pairs, no support crews, commercial resupply only. One continuous clock from the mass start in Bellingham to the finish in Davis.
4. Rider tracking
Live tracking is mandatory: satellite tracker (e.g. Spot / Garmin inReach) or just the Ride Yr Bike app on your phone.
5. Who is this for?
Riders who want a “pure road” feel on quiet roads—a step between big regional loops and full transcontinental rides.
Entry: $100 USD — Ride Yr Bike app tracker setup and roster listing.
