About this Event
This is our 10th 360 Challenge!
This event is being organised for those of you who wish to help keep this volunteer service on the road. Your donation will help to fuel our vehicles which carry vital supplies to the local hospitals in the North of England and replenish blood supplies, 365 days a year, to the Great North Air Ambulance Service in the North East and Cumbria - this is known as the B.O.B run (Blood On Board).
The route takes you to the furthest points of the Northumbria Blood Bikes operational area that riders will cover many times during the year (the total area covered by our team is (approximately 3,317 Sq miles). The locations you will visit will showcase some of the best areas Northumberland, Durham, and Upper Teesdale have to offer - wild spectacular Landscapes, Moor and Coast, something for everyone!
The event starts and finishes either at Foxhunters, Preston North Road, North Shields, Tyne and Wear (NE29 9QA), or from The Garage Bar & Grille, 30 Pavilion Terrace, Burnhope, Co Durham (DH7 0BN) from 8.00am onwards (recommended to start by 9.00am). You can then select a different finish point to the one you start at.
Once signed in you will be given an event card to complete on the route. Participants must visit all locations to complete their event card (see below), which needs to be shown at the finish for you, (and your pillion), to receive your commemorative event patch.

· Great North Air Ambulance Service, Progress House, Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe, (TS16 0QB) - (Hanger 63 Coffee House open from 8.30am until 3pm)
· The Garage Bar & Grille, 30 Pavilion Terrace, Burnhope, Co Durham (DH7 0BN) (Open early for breakfast and refreshments available throughout the day)
· Tesco Hexham, Tyndale Retail Park, Alemouth Road, Hexham, (NE46 3PJ)
· BERWICK LOCATION TBC
The entry fee for the event is £18.00 per rider/driver and £5.00 extra if you also carry a pillion/passenger.
All participants who successfully complete the challenge will receive a commemorative event patch, and any individual who is successful in raising £360 or more will receive a 'SPECIAL AWARD' patch in recognition of their efforts. There is also a special 'ELITE' patch for the individual who raises the highest amount of sponsorship for the event which will be awarded once sponsorships have all been collected. Note: All participants who take part do so at their own risk; The ride is held on public highways and all rules and regulations of the road must be strictly adhered to at all times. The organisers would like to stress that the ride is not a race; it is a fund raising treasure hunt ride to help with the running of the Northumbria Blood Bikes. It is not a lead or marshalled ride and each rider can choose their own route.
