Grab a seat at any of the available tables on the Northside Outside street or bring your own chairs. Whether you're a music enthusiast or just looking for a fun evening out, this event guarantees something special for everyone.
And what's better than enjoying great tunes? Pairing them with delicious food and drinks from our Northside businesses, of course! Attendees can order from any of the Northside restaurants and savor their treats on the street while soaking in the ambiance of Northside's sights and sounds.

Blake Shaw, a versatile musician hailing from Iowa City, is a skilled double and electric bassist, vocalist, composer/arranger, and music professor who brings a rich tapestry of influences to his craft. Currently, Blake holds the position of jazz director at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA, and also serves as the double bass professor at Cornell College in Mt Vernon. Despite his demanding teaching schedule, Blake can be found performing virtually every weekend with a diverse array of bands, ranging from solo acts to big bands.
