NorthSide - Financial Literacy Class
Welcome to the NorthSide Educational Series! In partnership with the NorthSide North Shore Chamber of Commerce, NorthSide Works!, One NorthSide, and Dollar Bank, the WIN Workforce Development Program offers free or low-cost educational classes on diverse topics each month. Dollar Bank will provide monthly financial literacy sessions covering different essential topics to help you build a strong financial foundation. Stay after for a digital literacy course, where we offer essential tech skills and walk-in computer lab hours to support your job search and career growth. ELIGIBLITY
The WIN Workforce Development Program provdes services to individuals that are 18 years of age or older, have a Mental Health Diagnosis and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Substance Use Disorders/Recovery, ReEntry and face financial hardship (eligible or participating in Medicaid). We work to remove employment barriers due to Social Determinants of Health, (such as food insecurity, housing instability, education, employmnet, education, financial strain, utilities, childcare) and help inidviduals to find sustainable employment.
Registration for the walk-in computer lab usage is not required.
