Come and learn about your local environment, what's happening to the area you live in and what you can do to help solve local and global problems. Get advice on home insulation and renewables to reduce your energy bills. Learn about growing your own food to reduce grocery bills. Discover other ways to move around the city, saving money and keeping you healthy. Learn about local wildlife and greenspaces. Discuss your views on key issues. Get your garden tools repaired and sharpened and your home equipment repaired. Activities for people of all ages.
Activities include:
- Edinburgh Repair Cafe (Main Hall): Our volunteers will be on hand to help you repair your broken electrical, electronic and mechanical devices such as toys, small electricals, laptops, lamps. We suggest people contact us beforehand to confirm what they'd like to bring is suitable - can save a wasted trip and allows us to plan better.
