Come and join us on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at the Paul Pry, 14 High Road, Rayleigh for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our Northern Lights under the expert instruction of our workshop leader Sophie.We supply everything you need to paint including a quality 20”x16” stretched canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, easel and apron as well as expert tuition.
At the end of the evening you get to keep your painting to treasure.
No experience needed. You can either follow the instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set pace. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you should have a painting that you love.
This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm.

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar. PLEASE NOTE: This is a licensed venue, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN. All drinks and snacks must be purchased on the premises.
There is a car parking available on site. Please validate your parking within the pub.
Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.
We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
