Northern Breakup Bash Tournament
Ages 16+ | Mixed Division
(If we get 8+ teams we will split to an advanced + b division)
Join us for a fun weekend of hockey at the Northern Breakup Bash. This tournament is open to all skill levels and follows a USA Hockey non-contact format, making it both fast-paced and accessible.
Tournament Format
• 4-game guarantee with a Sunday championship 🥇
• First 4 games are round robin play
• Mixed division (no separation between A and beer league teams)
Game Structure
• Three 18-minute run-time periods
• (1) 5 minute overtime if needed, then shootout if no score during OT.
• USA Hockey non-contact rules
Scoring System (Round Robin)
• Win: 3 points
• OT win 2 points, 1 point OT loss.
• Tie: 1 point per team
• Loss: 0 points
Playoff Seeding Tiebreakers
• Total points
• Fewest penalty minutes
• Head-to-head result
Key Dates
• Rosters due: April 6th
• First games: Friday, April 10th at 5:30 PM or later
Registration Details
• Team registration: $1,200
• Free agent registration: $100
• Maximum roster: 16 players (goalie included)
