Join us for a special screening of the new PBS documentary, North to Freedom. Directed by Brian Frey of WSKG Public Television, the film tells the story of the Underground Railroad in Upstate New York. Learn about the brave men and women who escaped enslavement, traveling up through Delaware and Pennsylvania to reach Canada and settle in the north. Featuring a special guest appearance by one of the historians featured in the film - Dionne Patterson of UGR3DAY Underground Railroad Experiences. UGR3DAY is an incredible organization offers immersive learning experiences for those interested in the history of self-emancipation, and the community of helpers in our tristate area. This free screening will take place inside the Education Building at the Norristown Farm Park
