About this Event
You’re invited to attend and participate as a delegate to the Youth Observer to the United Nations, North Texas Town Hall, Saturday, November 16th, 9 a.m.- noon at the SMU McCord Auditorium in Dallas Hall. The event is open to Youth and Young Professionals and those who work with them. We are extending special invitations to University and High School campus organizations that are engaged in addressing Global Issues and Human Rights. The Town Hall will provide a platform for discussing the most pressing issues on the minds of our Youth and Young Professionals. Those priorities will be shared by the Youth Observer, who participates as a UNA-USA delegate at the United Nations.

The moderator for the Town Hall is Oscar Armando Lopez III, the 13th Youth Observer to the United Nations. As a passionate advocate for climate action, human rights, and digital rights, Oscar brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to this prestigious role.
