Washington Services NB to Whitley Bay Memorial. Meet from 11:45am at the HGV parking area - briefing at 13:15, kick stands up 13:30. Approx 30 miles to Bournemouth Gardens Car Park (free) and the winding footpath which will be marked. Remembrance service starts 15:00. Refreshments available at Spanish City site.Route is A1 north to Seaton Burn, A19 to Moor Farm RAB, A189 (Spine Road) exit for Blyth Beach. Follow the A1061 to the coast then south on the A193 to Whitley Bay.
Staggered files ride, Marshall’s at junctions, no overtaking once in group position, breakdown recovery available but ensure your bike is fit for the road. Obey all road signs please.
L plates meet at Wetlands on A1231. A Marshall will collect you and depart at 13:30 to join the A1 at the Birtley interchange.
