Nordic Star
Learn some easy embroidery stitches to make this traditional style tree decoration.
This workshop is suitable for adults and young adults over 12. Any young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult also taking part in the workshop.
The session will be led by Julia from Sewing Box Somerset. Learn at your own pace in this friendly relaxed group, make friends and discover how much pleasure there is in making something personal and unique.
“Anyone can sew and it is the actual process that has always brought me far more joy than the finished item. You can almost hear the heart rates slowing down, anxiety draining away in a room of people sitting and sewing,” Julia, Sewing Box Somerset.
Julia teaches sewing, quilting and patchwork at classes and workshops across the Taunton and Bridgwater area. She is leading two sewing workshops as part of the Museum’s ‘In Fashion’ exhibition.
