Join us for a casual 5k event that makes a big impact! The Nooga Hunger Walk Run is all about raising funds and promoting awareness of food insecurity in our community. Hosted by the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and Feeding the Future, this event takes place on Saturday, September 12th at the First Horizon Pavilion (1826 Reggie White Blvd Chattanooga, Tennessee 37408). Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just want to support a worthy cause, sign up today and be part of the solution. Remember, every step counts!NOTE: Register by Friday, August 7th, 2026 to ensure you get a t-shirt.
EVENT DETAILS:
- Pre-event packet pick up will be available Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th as well as Friday, September 11th from 9am-2pm at the Food Bank's main warehouse (2009 Curtain Pole Rd off Amnicola Hwy). You can also pick up the day of the event from 6:30am until 8:00am. Packet pickup will close 30 minutes before the event start time. No need to print your tickets out on paper.
- Bring your kiddos - we'll have lots of fun children's activities.
- Come hungry - there will be food trucks.
- If you have friends and family that don't want to run, they can also sign up to volunteer at the event. Volunteer slots open May 12th.
- We will be collecting food donations so please bring non-perishable food items to donate and it will go right back to help others in our community!
