CZ ▸▸▸ Jediný operní festival v ČR, který se kontinuálně věnuje soudobému žánru opery od její klasické formy po experimentální, vznikl spojením sil Národního divadla moravskoslezského a Ostravského centra nové hudby v roce 2012. Od té doby bylo provedeno v Ostravě v českých nebo světových premiérách přes čtyřicet inscenací. Čtrnáct let od svého založení NODO stále demonstruje neutuchající tvůrčí zvídavost a sílu aktuálního uměleckého vyjádření. I v tomto roce si budeme prostřednictvím současné opery a hudebního divadla klást otázky po smyslu naší existence v 21. století.

EN ▸▸▸ The only opera festival in the Czech Republic which is continuously devoted to the contemporary genre of opera from its classical to experimental form is based on the cooperation between the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and Ostrava Center for New Music and was founded in 2012. Since then, more than 40 productions were presented in Ostrava in Czech or world premieres. Fourteen years since its foundation, NODO continues to demonstrate an unrelenting creative curiosity and the power of current artistic expression. This year we will again question the meaning of our existence in the 21st century through contemporary opera and musical theatre.
