Join us for our annual NoCo Native Plant Swap event at the Fort Collins EcoFest. All gardening levels will find some treasure at this FREE event where community makes it happen. Learn about plant and pollinator connections with the help of volunteers as you select pollinator-friendly plants for YOUR garden and watch your backyard turn into a habitat for wildlife and a sanctuary for your friends and family.
Nothing to swap? No problem! There will be plenty of plants on hand and volunteers to help. Please bring your own bag, basket, tray or box to transport your plants home. If you have extra pots, bring those along so you can repot at the event with free soil and return the pots for us to grow next season.
If you would like to donate plants to share at the Seed Swap, you can drop off extra seedlings you grow or dig during the swap. For more info about growing plants, email [email protected]. No registration is required to attend the event as a visitor and we hope you'll drop by the WRV table to say hello!
Partners include Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, Colorado Native Plant Society, Wild Ones, People and Pollinators Action Network, Nature in The City-Fort Collins, League of Women Voters, City of Fort Collins Utilities, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service and Northern Water.
You do not have to register to attend the event but you can sign up to receive growing tips and news about other native plant events.
