Mark your calendars! Our first monthly Noche de Bohemia with infectious music and dancing (successor to our popular Tertulia Series), a collaboration between Raíces and Taller Puertorriqueño , will happen on Friday, August 30 at Taller at 2600 N. 5th St. (5th and Huntingdon Sts.) between 6 and 9 pm. The irresistible songs and rhythms will be provided by Johnny and Aida Cruz of Raíces Boricuas. Light refreshments will be served. Admission $15/person.NOTE: We will celebrate our Co-Founder and Vice President Yolanda Alcorta's birthday at this Noche de Bohemia!! Cake of course will be served!!
