Andrew Toy uses percussion as a starting point for composition and sonic exploration. In the studio and on stage, Andrew twists, distorts, and re-arranges the sound of the drums beyond recognition to create soundscapes that are both intense and atmospheric. By re-imagining instrument roles and creative processes, Toy has crafted a sound that blends post-rock, minimalism, world music, and electronica with the energy of live drums.
