No Speak English – A Journey of Migration and Resistance offers a deeply personal account of this shared history, tracing one family’s journey while reflecting the experiences of many within our community.
Through personal memories and family narratives, Tara Mistry documents the emotional realities of migration from Gujarat to Britain, spanning over sixty years. Her memoir captures moments of vulnerability and courage, illuminating how identity, language, and community were shaped in unfamiliar environments.
