Right now, we could be looking for solutions to housing and healthcare crises. Right now, we could be divesting from fossil fuel industries and migrating towards renewable, sustainable energy. We could be rebuilding public infrastructure, revitalizing our fields and forests - creating a sustainable network grid of communities across this land that would actually help everyday Americans live better, retain liberty, and be able to pursue happiness.
BUT WE'RE NOT.
WHY?
Because the people who have the money and the power now want to hoard the money and the power amongst as few of themselves as possible. Do you know what the United States is known for as the world leader in production? Billionaires. Twice as many as the next leading country, China, which has over a billion more people in their population. The US produces 1/3 of the entire world's billionaires.
So it's NOT that we "don't have the resources" to take care of people. We ABSOLUTELY have the resources. We have more resources than anywhere else on earth - we just allow the desires of the few to be more important than the needs of the many. It's sociopathic.
They aren't murdering people on accident or by mistake. They aren't not releasing the unredacted Trump-Epstein Files because they aren't able. They aren't allowing conditions in DHS concentration camps to be so horrific people are having seizures and dying left and right because there aren't any other options.
They really don't care.
