About this Event
Hello There,
We are from Bishan Toastmasters Club in Singapore. We are a group of people who practice public speaking in a encouraging and structured environment. Besides public speaking, we also train ourselves in leadership and other soft skills such as humour.
This meeting is our informal extra chapter meeting per month, that we will add in some other variety of elements to make it engaging and fun.
Structure of this meeting is going to be:
Prepared Speech - 2 people speak on a topic they have prepared for
Table Topics - Impromptu speaking - training ourselves to think under pressure and speak in a coherent manner
Evaluations - 2 prepared speakers receive feedback for their speeches
Boardgames - We will be playing 2 light hearted boardgames to bring smiles to everyone
Plus our Bishan tradition is to go downstairs to the coffeshop to have a drink after our meeting. You are most welcome to join and the drinks are free.
