The Bronze National Navigation Award is a practical hands-on award for runners or walkers. (Conducted at walking pace).It is aimed at people with little or no navigation experience whether you are new to the outdoors or have been relying on others, guidebooks or easy well-defined routes.
This course is split over 2 days on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February. The maximum tutor to participant ratio is 1:6
It will be held in the South Derbyshire/National Forest area. And being a very practical course will be 90% outdoors. The exact location will be advised to participants ahead of the course.
Discounts/free places are available for those with Peak Running volunteer credits and Jog Derbyshire Leaders.
For the full Bronze Navigator award syllabus please see the NNAS website. The NNAS Bronze Navigator award is accredited by the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 4, and 2 SCQF credit points are awarded on completion.
