About this Event
The Future of Design: As I See It is a design-forward event that brings together Reno’s finest designers to share the ideas they believe will shape what’s next. In a series of short, engaging presentations, each designer will present one concept, trend, or shift they feel deserves our attention as the industry evolves.
Hosted by Diverza Source & Design in partnership with the NKBA Sierra Nevada Chapter, this panel discussion features four accomplished designers, each offering a unique perspective shaped by experience, culture, and innovation.

Alejandra Bernardez began her interior design career in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she developed a deep appreciation for contemporary simplicity and noble materials. Drawing inspiration from global travel and diverse cultures, she creates interiors that blend beauty, funcionality, and personal style - thoughfully tailor to each client

Marcio Decker
Principal Interior Designer, NCIDQ
Aspen Leaf Interiors
Marcio Decker's creative work has garnered attention on platforms such as HGTV, ElleDecor.com and most recently for two awards—Best Individual Space and Best Speciality Kitchen—at the 2025 Andyz Awards. For his kitchen and bath designs, NKBA awarded him with both Best Kitchen and Best Powder Room Designs in 2024.
Marcio has also received praise for a recent commercial project at the Tahoe Quarterly Magazine's 2023 Mountain Home Commercial Remodel Award, alongside Best Commercial Design Awards at both the CATT and Andyz Awards.
Leslie Collazo

Leslie Collazo is the owner of Diverza Source & Design, a curated design studio and materials showroom serving designers and builders throughout Northern Nevada. With a background in education and over a decade of experience working alongside architects, designers, and builders, Leslie brings a guidance-driven, materials-first approach to the design process.
Her career spans large-scale commercial projects as well as highly customized residential work. Rooted in her Guatemalan heritage and fluent in Spanish, Leslie blends technical expertise, cultural influence, and a deep belief that the future of design lies in thoughtful curation—not excess.
Kristen Giacomini
Owner & Principal Designer
Flow Designs
Kristen Giacomini is an award-winning interior designer and founder of Flow Designs. . With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of materials, function, and aesthetics, Kristen specializes in crafting interiors that are both beautiful and highly functional. Beyond design, she is committed to sharing knowledge and inspiring others.
Recognized for excellence in design, Kristen recently won First Place in Specialty Kitchen at KBIS 2025, a testament to her innovative approach and dedication to pushing design boundaries.
The evening begins with networking, appetizers, and drinks, followed by the moderated panel discussion and an interactive Q&A session. Guests will also enjoy raffles and giveaways throughout the event.
This event is open to the design, architecture, and building community, as well as anyone passionate about the future of interiors. Join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and inspiration in a welcoming, creative setting.
