Join NJ Salsa this April for a fun and structured dance experience featuring Bachata, Salsa, and a practice social designed to build your confidence on the dance floor.

9-10:30pm – Practice Social
SALSA (Level 1), 7pm
This class focuses on essential Salsa fundamentals including footwork, partnerwork, and musicality. Perfect for new dancers and those looking to refine their basics and improve fluidity on the dance floor.
This program will lay the foundation with the introduction of the basics and fundementals of Salsa. Begin here, ground yourself, and flourish as a Salsa dancer!
SALSA (Open Level) Drill Program - 8pm
Introducing our new Salsa (Open Level) Drill Program!
This program is a series of classes designed to help develop proficencity in the fundemental movements of NJ Salsa's Level 1 curriculum.
This class is designed for the student who has spent some time in the Level 1 program and is preparing for the Level 2 assessment.
This class is also designed for the student who is in the Level 2 program but who is in need, and/or, desires to reinforce the foundational & fundemental movements that lead to fulidity in social dancing.
Succently put, this program will focus on details of foundational concepts, and the drilling of fundemental movements.
The instruction in the 'drill classes' will assume a base knowledge of the Level 1 curriculum. This is not a pattern-oriented program, but it will certainly make the dancer better prepared to execute intricate sequences in social dancing.
Students with at least 3 months of expereince in Salsa (Level 1), as well as Salsa (Level 2) students are invited to enroll.
PRACTICE SOCIAL, 9-10:30pm
Stay after class to practice what you’ve learned in a relaxed, supportive environment. This is your time to build confidence, meet others, and apply your skills in real social dancing.

What is a “Lead” or “Follow”?
When registering, you will select either Lead or Follow.
A Lead guides the dance, while a Follow responds to and complements the Lead’s movements.
