NIRD(s) Northern Ireland Recorders Day (Species)

Our annual volunteer recorders day is a chance for anyone and everyone to learn, connect and share experiences around recording wildlife, species, new projects and workshops. Event will be hybrid this year, all talks can be viewed online or in person.

There will be information stands, talks, craft activities for children, moth trapping and a wildlife walk.

Moth traps will be opened early so anyone hoping to see more of the moths will need to be at the event for an earlier start of 9.30am.

10am - 12pm - talks

12 - 1pm - lunch (Bring your own or there is a cafe on site. There will be small bites, tea, coffee refreshments provided)

1pm - 3pm - butterfly/wildlife walk / WildSpaces workshop

NB Wear suitable outdoor footwear, clothing and bring a lunch if you plan to stay for the whole day.
