I’m excited to announce the next major cosplay event I will be hosting in May 2026 and it’s a massive one: Nintendo Vs Sega Cosplay Meetup! That’s right! A massive event where we celebrate the legacies of both companies. Why I’m doing this? Well that’s because 2026 will mark the 35th anniversary of the console wars between SNES and Sega Genesis that push the industry to an iconic era of competition. As seen by this poster all Nintendo characters are welcome to join and even on the Sega side, studios that Sega owns like Atlus, Creative Assembly, Hatsune Miku and Project Sekai are welcome to join us as well. Let’s make this a fun meetup in honoring these two companies that have stood the test of time!
