Dear friends and actors of Kindertheater! Our project is going on.
Children and adults are learning a lot about nature, about theatre, and about their own untapped talents.
And now the professional actress Blanche Kommerell (https://www.blanche-kommerell.de/) is helping us. We learn from Blanche to move, speak, and express our feelings as professional actors.
And later, producing decorations and costumes, learning to set up the light, how to choose the requisite and how to organize the space on the scene – you will learn all these exciting things!
Soon, we will visit the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theatre in Gorlitz for the behind-the-scenes excursion. And we are looking forward to an exchange trip with our partner ecological theatre in Slovakia.
Become a member of our team!
One and a half hours will go by quickly, and you will learn a lot and make new friends.
Parents are also welcome.

What is a play about in a nutshell?
Two small, brave guls, a fox, an elf, and a very wise fairy are rescuing the river, which got sick and lost its voice. Why is it so? The giant just wanted to plant new crop fields to feed people; he meant no harm. But his fields were too large; he drained peatlands and cut forests, cleaned the riverbanks, and the river became sick. He did not know that even doing good for one, you can bring harm to the other. Friends convince the giant to work together to restore the river and organize his future work wisely and without harm to nature. The river is singing again, and a couple of fish can climb upstream to breed their children.
