Nightfever is an evening of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, where volunteers stand outside the church inviting people inside to light a candle. It is a global initiative of young Christians who want to share the love and mercy of God with the community. It was founded in 2005 by students who were inspired by the joy and energy of Christians coming together at World Youth Day in Cologne, and it now runs in 26 countries. This is a wonderful act of outreach that lets us be a witness for the faith and allows people who have never been to church encounter Christ and his peace.
Nightfever will be taking place on Friday of 7th week at Blackfriars Priory, and we need lots of volunteers to make it happen. The choir will rehearse before the volunteers' briefing, timings tbc.
