As dusk deepens, we’ll watch the sky come alive as bats emerge for their nightly foraging. Following this natural spectacle, we’ll embark on a guided evening hike along our cypress and Nature Center Loop trails. Experience the sights and sounds of the forest at twilight, and discover how wildlife adapts to life after dark.
This program is perfect for nature enthusiasts of all ages looking to connect with Florida’s unique ecosystems in a whole new light.
The hike is moderate, over uneven terrain and unpaved trails in the dark. Shoes appropriate for hiking are recommended.
Along the way, we'll provide UV and infrared flashlights to share to look for various creatures.
