Join local bat workers and volunteers from Berks & South Bucks Bat Group, for a night-time safari at Spade Oak Lake, on the hunt for our incredibly acrobatic, nocturnal flying mammals.Spade Oak Lake is a fantastic location for bats feasting on insects above the water. We’ve previously recorded 7 of the 18 species found in the UK during the summer here.
We may be lucky enough to spot other nocturnal species at this special local nature reserve.
Due to timings and proximity to the lake, we suggest this event is not suitable for young children. Bring head/small torches if you have them.
