Session #4- Dayton's LGBTQ+ Histories and Futures: A conversation with Sam Dorf and Ricehlle Frabotta
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we uncork Dayton’s vibrant LGBTQ+ past and toast to its dynamic future. Dr. Sam Dorf, Professor at the University of Dayton, will share the story of Dayton's most famous LGBTQ+ heroine, Natalie Clifford Barney (1876-1972), and the city’s rich queer history. Then, Richelle Frabotta, LGBTQ+ Health Initiatives Project Manager, Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County will introduce the exciting new Q+ Youth Center, a beacon for and with the next generation of Q+ identified individuals in our community. There won't be a test at the end, but there WILL be Dayton LGBTQ+ trivia!
